This V-2 is a stone-simple 60 watt head that is ostentatiously loud. There are two channels, an EQ with various tone switches to help shape your sound, and very nice onboard reverb. The front panel completes with the standby, polarity and on-off switch.
The natural overdriven sound produced by this monster is glorious – of course getting to this thing to overdrive is often well past the point of too loud. Before that point, you are treated to a huge amount of clean headroom, tapable with both a main and extension output on the back panel. There’s also a power amp in, preamp in, effects loop, and footswitch jack to control the reverb.
This particular amp show signs of its age, but is in pretty good shape that considered. It has also been recently gone through by a technician and given a clean bill of health.
