Gibson banjos are the highwater mark for American banjos, and the TB series offers phenomenal craftsmanship and great tone at a somewhat lower price than one of the Mastertone instruments could be had for.
Here we have a nice specimen from 1958, built right here in Kalamazoo, Michigan! All original parts are intact, save for one tuner which has been replaced, and potentially the bridge. The neck is straight and comfortable, and the resonator bowl is in good shape.
The instrument could use a new head and new bridge, but for the sake of keeping parts as original as possible, those changes have not been made at our shop. The instrument includes the original hardshell case with a very nice Gibson badge and a good-condition handle.
