Now this is a strange animal if there ever was one. Aesthetically modeled after an old-fashioned game system (Think Amiga or Atari), the MWFX 8-Bit folds your round signal in to a square wave, creating a very unruly fuzz effect while also throwing off analog noise. Features a volume control for the effect itself and a trim pot inside to control decay.
The construction of this pedal is pretty interesting. The body is made of caved wood, finished and painted, and the rubber grip-pad on the bottom is held on by velcro, making access to the trim-pot and battery cavity a breeze. The whole design is reminiscent of something you could play PONG on.
