This is something that no drum it should be without – A bass drum pedal! Premier made this one in the late ’70s, and it’s a good one.
This guy sports a cast aluminum body, wire-frame base, and a medium-length footboard. The chain is a little rusty, but still very serviceable. The spring is similarly a bit spotted, but in good shape.
Thumb screw for the hoop clamp moves freely, and both spike screws are present and functional. The original beater is most likely disintegrated at this point, but someone put a hard plastic DW, which works just fine short of player’s preference.
Overall, a fine piece of equipment – especially if you’ve got Premier shells to match!
